Ured za patente i žigove Sjedinjenih Američkih Država (USPTO) odbio je zahtjev za patentiranje imena igre Unravel zbog sličnosti s imenom stolne igre pod imenom igre Beary’s Unravel.

“Oznaka podnositelja zahtjeva “UNRAVEL” identična je registracijskoj oznaci “UNRAVEL” te će dovesti do zbunjenosti potrošača.”

Zbog ove situacije, Electronic Arts i studio Coldwood Interactive biti će prisiljeni promijeniti naslov njihove nadolazeće igre ili nadodati određene riječi zbog smanjivanja sličnosti s imenom spomenute igre.

Unravel je platformerska videoigra koja će 09. veljače biti dostupna na Windows, PlayStation 4 i Xbox One platformi. Članovi EA Accessa imat će 04. veljače mogućnost odigrati dio igre prije njenog službenog dolaska na tržište.

Nakon što je Mike Ybarra, direktor menadžmenta Xboxa, objavio popis prvih 104 Xbox 360 igara koje će biti igrive na novijoj generaciji konzola – Xbox One, sada je Microsoft objavio dodatnih deset.

Osim dodatnih deset igara, Microsoft je promijenio i raspored za buduće naslove. Naime, tvrtka će objaviti naslove odmah kada postanu dostupne radije nego postavljanja mjesečnih objavljivanja grupe igara.

Ubisoft je najavio CaveBnB, novi online natječaj za iskustvo divljine i svijeta igre Far Cry Primal putujući natrag u vrijeme kamenog doba.

“Duboko u divljini i neprijateljskom djelu prirode, imat ćete iskustvo vašeg života dok učite gurati svoje granice i ponovno se povezati sa svojim primitivnim nagonima.”

“Po danu, razviti ćete nove vještine i naučiti boriti se s elementima sudjelujući u intenzivnom tečaju preživljavanja s jednim od naših stručnjaka. • Rise of the Tomb Raider: Xbox One vs. Xbox 360 – 08.09.2015.

Ubisoft je na službenom Twitter profilu igre Tom Clancy’s The Division objavio kako će zatvorena beta spomenute igre za Xbox One započeti krajem ovog mjeseca, točnije 28. siječnja. Zatvorena beta na PlayStation 4 i PC platformi započinje 29. siječnja. Testiranje igre sveukupno će trajati do 31. siječnja 2016. godine.

Registraciju za sudjelovanje u zatvorenoj beti još uvijek je moguće obaviti na službenoj stranici igre. Ovim načinom nije osiguran pristup sudjelovanju u zatvorenoj beti, dok će osobe koje su prednaručile proizvod zasigurno dobiti beta ključ.

Igra Tom Clancy’s The Division biti će 08. ožujka 20¸6. godine dostupna na Windows, PlayStation 4 i Xbox One platformi.

Ranije ovog tjedna, nadolazeća nova igra Hitman uklonjena je sa PlayStation Storea u Europi s otkazanom pred-narudžbom za PlayStation 4 verziju igre.

Iako je igra najavljena za ožujak 2016. godine, razlog uklanjanja sa PlayStation Storea je premišljanje developera IO- Interactive i prebacivanje igre na epizode. Time, 11. ožujka Hitman će uključivati prolog misiju i samo jedno mjesto – Pariz po cijeni od 15 dolara.

Nova lokacija – Italija biti će objavljena u travnju, a Maroko u svibnju po dodatnim cijenama od 10 dolara.

“Redovita mjesečna ažuriranja sadržaja” uključivat će i tri dodatne lokacije: Tajland, SAD i Japan, a koje će biti dostupne kasnije tijekom godine.

Hitman je službeno najavljen 16. siječnja ove godine, ali je pomaknut na 11. ožujka za PlayStation 4, Xbox One i PC.

Objavljene su nominirane videoigre za ovogodišnji event dodjele nagrada Akademije interaktivne znanosti i umjetnosti DICE koji se održava devetnaestu godinu za redom.

Dvije igre su se izdvojile s najvećim brojem nominacija; The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt i Rise of the Tomb Raider kao vodeće s osam od dvadeset i dvije nagrade.

Igre Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Ori and the Blind Forset, Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt nominirane su za glavnu nagradu Igre godine.

Također, Satoru Iwata je osvojio Nagradu za životno djelo, dok je primatelj Hall of Fame Hideo Kojima.

Pobjednici po kategorijama biti će objavljeni na svečanoj dodjeli u četvrtak, 18. veljače ove godine.

Nekoliko stranih medija nedavno je objavilo kako će Enhanced Edition igre The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt uskoro izaći na tržište, točnije 5. veljače za PC, Xbox One i PlayStation 4.

Nekoliko online trgovina kao što su SmartToys i francuska E.Leclerc također je postavilo proizvod s istim datumom izlaska na tržište.

No, glasine su maknute u korijenu od strane samog developera CD Projekt.

“Nema Enhanced Edition za The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt kojeg smo svjesni, ovo je neka vrsta pogreške koju ćemo razmotriti”, izjavljeno je na službenom forumu.

Igra The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt prodana je u više od 6 milijuna primjeraka tijekom prvih šest tjedana dostupnosti igre na tržištu.

Web stranica bazirana na industriji videoigara VG Chartz objavila je listu najprodavanijih videoigara globalno tijekom 2015. godine.

PlayStation 4 verzija igre Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 u sedam tjedana 2015. godine prodana je u čak 9 327 361 primjeraka i time je osvojila prvo mjesto na top listi. Xbox One verzija igre zauzela je četvrto mjesto s 5 195 291 prodanih primjeraka, dok su PS3 i Xbox 360 verzije prošle nešto lošije s oko 1 200 000 primjeraka na 52. i 54. mjestu.

Pored svake igre na listi deset najprodavanijih igara opisano je koliko je prodanih jedinica tijekom 2015. godine te koliko je prodanih jedinica od kada je sama igra izašla na tržište.
